It's less than half an hour to Inter-State Park at St. Croix Falls to the west and to the Pioneer Village near Cameron to the east. Those who can stay a little longer enjoy the National Fishing Hall of Fame at Hayward, Al Capone's Hideout at Couderay, a paddleboat trip or canoeing on the St. Croix, exploring other scenic riverways or even The Mall of America in Minneapolis, which is just a nice day trip. If you want to bring the family for a couple days in April or May or a week in June, July or August, check out our private 2 bedroom lakeside cottage, which is available with a canoe, paddleboat and rowboat for fishing or just enjoying this scenic lake. Dry firewood is available for your evening campfire.
