Inside, the lodge has 3 rooms named for areas of the Kinnickinnic River. Rocky Branch, Pete’s Creek, and Lower Dam are all outfitted with log furniture, private baths, tv/vcr’s, and fireplaces where you can relax in a cozy “northwoods” atmosphere capturing your heart, or relax fly fishing right outside!

In the Ice House Lodge next door to the main lodge you may enjoy beverages & munchies while playing with games or puzzles.

Quiet and secluded just off Main Street, Kinni Creek Lodge caters to summer vacationers interested in bird watching, fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking or relaxing. In the winter, cross-country ski or snowmobile trails minutes from the inn!

Kayak the Kinni: Being spring-fed, the Kinnickinnic River in River Falls, Wis., is unusually cold, which makes it a good trout stream. It's also a good kayaking and canoeing stream, and Kinni Creek Lodge and Outfitters rents both kinds of boats.
Most people tip the canoes, says proprietor Paige Olson-Lackey, which may be a good thing on a hot day. Still, she recommends the single kayaks, which maneuver better in the shallow, rock-filled water. The eight-mile trip from River Falls to Kinnickinnick State Park takes most people about three hours, she says, though many like to get out and picnic or swim from sandbars.
